International CFO

Communicate have collaborated with an established Real Estate Developer in their search for a new Chief Financial Officer. The firm was founded in order to encourage economic development in the local area. Following a listing in Abu Dhabi in 2005 the business has continued to grow and develop across a number of asset bases in the region.

The company is now looking for an experienced CFO to join the business. Working alongside the current CEO you will be responsible for the continued professionalization of the finance department as well as continued expansion in the firm’s portfolio.

A central part of the role is a fundamental understanding of risk. You will identify and report on risks across the deal process whilst ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for all finances across the business and act as a central figure in investor relations. You will also assist in developing and managing new funding relationships.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading both finance and investment functions across alternative residential firms.This role will be the next step for a candidate with excellent career trajectory and ambitions to take on an added degree of responsibility across functions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Consolidation of P&L, financial statements, cash flows
• Management of core finance function
• Preparation of management reports and annual budget
• Involvement in Development appraisals process

Qualifications / Experience Required:

• CIMA/ACA qualified with extensive PQE
• Track record or raising and structuring equity and debt instruments
• Strong communication skills
