I am working with a leading Waste Resource Services business who now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced new business sales professional.

The role is based from home (ideally Midlands) with National coverage.

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for driving the business and increasing its volume and revenue, identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding the presence of the business and its brand in its target sectors and markets.

Some of your responsibilities in addition to this will include but not be limited to;

• build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships; develop pricing strategy using historical data and financial analysis; assume bid lead status for defined contract negotiations, acting as a senior client interface, undertaking client presentations and developing strategy based on customer feedback and needs; achieve individual sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; ensure professional transition of new accounts to Account Management Team following successful on boarding; maintain knowledge of market trends; maintaining professional network.

In order to be considered for this position you must have proven track record in winning new business; understanding of the sales and tendering process for private & local authority bidding; demonstrate a sound level of Waste Resource Management industry & legislation knowledge including new and innovative treatment technologies; excellent commercial negotiation skills; strong written and verbal presentation skills; strong IT skills including; MS Word; PowerPoint; Excel.
