Location: East London Hybrid working
Hybrid: Yes, this is predominantly WFH.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am–5pm (35hrs per week)
Pay: GBP400 – GBP425 per day umbrella Inside IR35 (NO LTD/CIS)
Duration: Ongoing contract
Duties
You will be working for an East London based Local Authority procuring various goods/services in relation to their Construction and Facilities Management contracts.
Qualifications & Experience
2 Years work experience within a Local Authority or other equivalent Public Body which is subject to the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (as amended) and the organisations Procurement Procedures.
2 Years work experience undertaking the assembly of Tender Packs (Invitation To Tender / Request for Quotation) and can demonstrate experience working with Client Project Teams / Internal Departments (Legal / Insurance / Data Officers / etc) to assist with drafting documents with the Client Project Team and ensure the Tender Packs are complete with all relevant information (including weightings and sub–criteria).
2 Years work experience of running a Tender Process on an electronic Procurement Portal. Experience of setting up projects in the system and knowledge of workflows and activities within.
An advantage if the Candidate has experience of the following;
- Significant experience of over threshold procurements (including frameworks)
- Experience of carrying out call–offs from frameworks
- Experience of using large Public Buying Organisations(PBOs) frameworks for Call–Off Contracts e.g. ESPO, YPO
- Experience of CCS frameworks for Call–Off Contracts
- At least two years experience within the Construction and Facilities Management environment within a Local Authority or other equivalent Public Body
- Candidate has a working knowledge of construction procurement protocols, including terminology. Must also have an understanding of the Construction Project i.e. RIBA Work Stages both pre–construction and construction activities
