Electronic Systems Engineer – Peterborough (PE1) Hybrid working 50/50 once trained
Initial 12 month contract likely to extend for the right person as long as the business need is there
Competitive hourly rates available (PAYE/Umbrella)
An excellent new Electronic Systems Engineer assignment has just become available with our client, who are a globally renowned Fortune 100 company. They are working in an industry covering electronic engine, machine/ automotive control systems.
You ll be proactively working as key technical support for the Electronic system alongside colleagues and development partners to investigate, analyse & troubleshoot quality issues, maintain & improve validation test plans for software features, create or modify software flashfiles amongst other key tasks! This opportunity is based at our client s facilities in Peterborough.
In addition to the above, as Electronic Systems Engineer, you would:
- Provide technical support on pinouts, schematic questions, software functionality queries
- Raise & propose changes or improvements to components/system or processes
- Create & maintain system architecture diagrams and schematics
- Participate/lead the definition of the system architecture & Electronic components selection
- Participate/maintain FMEA & validation activities for the Electronic system & components
So what are we looking for?
- Proven Systems Engineer with the ability to successfully execute and deliver multiple Electronic System activities at one time
- Technical background in systems development (FMEA), analysis and/or integration (electronics or mechanical) and verification testing
- A team player, with excellent communication skills & ability to build strong working relations
- A self–starter with good initiative, who s able to initiate and take independent action
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise and provide focus on the customer and their needs
- Innovative solutions in problem solving with a demonstrated performance to very high work standards
