Finance Manager

Finance Manager GBP60–GBP70k + bonus Christchurch based with hybrid working Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting an international manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Finance Manager on a permanent basisResponsibilities of the Finance Manager

• Preparing and analyzing month–end management reports and reporting findings to management and alert management to significant variances to plan and forecast.
• Performing ad–hoc reporting and studies as required including leading or assisting in the completion of bid proposals
• Processing and maintaining general ledger, profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
• Developing plans and coordinating preparation of strategies, budgets and forecasts.
• Developing a thorough understanding of all aspects of the business, apply analytical skills to the detection of trends and the development of forecasts, provide insightful advice and managerial tools and serve as change agents.
• Performs complex technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
• Gathers, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
• Developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for proactive financial planning, controls and compliance
• Line management responsibilities for the transactional finance team

Skills and Experience required for the Finance Manager

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Manufacturing sector experience
• Team management experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Commercially focused with strong communication skills
