Financial Controller - Insurance Company - 12 Month Contract - London
Your new company
Your new company is a niche specialist insurance broker / MGA who have recently been acquired by a growing insurance group.
Your new role
You will be working for the CFO and responsible for the day to day running of the finance function. You will have a small team reporting into you but it is a broad hands on role covering management reporting, regulatory reporting and all financial management. You will also be involved in project work including the integration into the new parent company.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with experience working in the insurance sector - either broking or MGAs. You will have finance project experience- ideally an integration, but system and regulatory change will also be involved. You will be an experienced FC who can operate at a senior level but also happy to roll up your sleeves.
What you'll get in return
You'll be on a 12 month contract and there are likely to be longer term opportunities across the wider group. You will be joining a business as they go through an exciting period of growth and change. You will be on £80,000-£90,000 + benefits - there is some flexibility for the right candidate.
