Director - Project Management - Life Sciences

The world of life science has really accelerated since the pandemic and more and more facilities are requiring refurbishments, a number of buildings have been granted a change of use and new buildings across biopharmaceuticals, medical technology, genomics, diagnostics and digital health are being constructed, are in planning phases or currently operational following practical completion.

One of our repeat clients in the Project Management Consultancy market is looking to make a strategic hire and hire a Project Management Director to lead and develop this particular sector. As a business, they have already delivered to organisations within this space in a Project Controls and Cost Management Capacity and are looking to successfully build out a Project Management delivery team.

This role will require candidates to be comfortable with business development, have financial accountability for fee generation, be involved in the direct recruitment of staff and ultimately advise a senior leadership team on growth opportunities initially within the UK.

It is absolutely essential that candidates can demonstrate a proven track record of success in a Project Management capacity either from a Developer in this space, a Pharma Company or ideally another Project Management consultancy practice.

This business has a tremendous brand behind them and is prepared to heavily invest in this team and leadership structure over the next 3–5 years.

Candidates will need to display evidence of working on and delivering new build and refurbishment projects and a track record of success.

On offer is a competitive salary of up to GBP160,000 plus benefits. Candidates will be handled based on experience and also suitability for the role.

Office location is in central London with travel required to certain sites across the UK.
