Chief Engineer – AUTOSAR

Additive Consulting support pioneering companies with the advancement of electrification and decarbonisation. We are looking for experienced Chief Software Engineer with profound knowledge in design, development, validation and deployment of Autosar based embedded software in safety critical automotive projects. You will be proficient in Autosar based software architecture design, usage of Autosar tools like Da–Vinci, Autosar stack integration & testing, Complex device driver development, integration and software development based on C language. You will have experience and knowledge of key development processes like ASPICE/CMMI and shall have worked on safety products adhering to ISO26262 standards.
Your role:
In this role you will have good primary focus on development of embedded software control systems for propulsion inverter applications. You will be involved at all stages of the design and development process, liaising directly with customers, and the engineering team to provide and deliver effective engineering solutions. Responsibilities will cover the complete concept design, development and validation engineering cycle for 48–1200V power electronics (ie. multi–phase 2–level inverters) embedded control systems for our new scale–able e–module technology in high performance Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial applications.
Key Accountabilities:
Working with the Engineers from all disciplines to plan and develop systems software architecture
Software Architectural Design liaising with the Power/Control Electronics Engineering team
Deliver Autosar integrated software for inverter applications within schedules
Develop fault detection and mitigation strategies, particularly in–context of ISO26262
Test and calibrate software in dyno environment and in application which may include high performance vehicles in track and on–road environments.
Your Profile:
Several years of experience in Autosar based embedded software development for advanced applications in multicore microcontrollers. Any experience in electric powertrain application would be a plus.
Hold a relevant qualification, ideally a degree in mechanical, aerospace, software or electrical engineering or computer sciences.
Experience of developing automotive embedded architecture and software on multicore microcontrollers like Infineon Aurix, TI or other comparable microcontrollers.
Experience in development, configuration, and testing of Vector Autosar stack and Vector Da–Vinci tools
Experience of implementing/configuring communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C etc.
Experience in configuring/implementation/debugging Bootloaders, CDDs, Cybersecurity, Diagnostics, OTA, MCALs in the Autosar ecosystem
Experience in Integration of Matlab–Simulink generated code in Autosar based system
Experience of using embedded systems development and testing tools like CANape, CANalyser, in–Circuit Debuggers
Experience of developing low level drivers in C language, and associated toolchains such as TI HalCoGen and Code Composer Studio packages
Experience with version–control/configuration tools
Experience of lean/agile software development and quality management processes
