Your new company
We are looking for a qualified financial controller with wide ranging experience managing the finance function within a department/office for a blue chip or SME - preferably within financial services, but this is not essential, for a part-time interim assignment in Central Bristol from May 23- September 23.
As financial controller it will be crucial to understand the company's business systems and controls to ensure that recorded data is accurate. This will involve working with other departments including compliance and having a good knowledge of the systems and reporting requirements.
This role could suit a former Finance Director looking for a more flexible/ part time role or an experienced and ambitious financial controller.

Your new role
- May 23- September 23
- 5-6 month interim assignment to help the business get through their Audit
- Part-time Financial Controller role (3-4 days per week)
- Hybrid working available- 50% office time required in Bristol (2 days a week at least)
- Reviewing accounts on Xero and check revenue reconciliations to other business systems and compliance with revenue recognition policies
- Presenting monthly management information to Finance Director
- Providing Compliance Director with financial data for FCA returns
- Being main point of contact with external financial, compliance and tax auditors and helping prepare year end audit
