Interim Finance Director

Venture Recruitment Partners are working in partnership with a global healthcare company who are seeking to recruit an Interim Finance Director for an initial 6–month period.

Responsibilities of the Finance Director

• Line management of 6 direct reports who supervise managers and accountants across the EMEA region
• Be a business partner to the senior management team including directing the financial analysis, reporting and planning processes, commercial finance support and operational decision support.
• Ensure timely and complete implementation of global accounting/finance policies and procedures. Review and stay compliant with US GAAP, IFRS, and UK Statutory technical accounting guidance.
• Direct all activity that supports the integration efforts of the Company with regard to any acquisitions or expansions in subject region, primarily focusing on the financial processes and systems
• Coordinate with the FP&A Director and Business Unit Controllers to ensure accurate management reporting for operational management decision support.

Experience required for the Finance Director

• 10+ years of relevant job experience at a manager/supervisory level in accounting.
• ACA/ACCA qualified preferably with a practice background
• Healthcare / pharmaceutical sector experience is essential
• Multi–national / International business experience
• Team management experience
