Head of Asset Management

Are you a senior level Asset Manager with experience of heading up a local authority department?

We are looking for a head of Asset Management to work with a central London borough on an initial 3 month basis:

Rate: GBP400 per day (Possible room for negotiation)

Role:

To be the organisational lead ensuring the council implements best practice strategic asset management approaches.

You will play a key role to ensure Housing Management makes well informed investment and divestment decisions by being the lead for accurate asset data, the development and application of stock appraisal tools and processes, implementing the asset management strategy and developing and implementing asset quality standards.

You will be the lead client for a range of relevant improvement projects to ensure we have lean and digitally enabled processes.

You will also manage the construction procurement programme.

Person:

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience and or professional qualification in relation to building management, surveying or similar
Experience of project management
Management qualification
Experience of running a department
Experience of leading asset management modelling
