Looking for a dynamic, forward thinking leader to join my clients organisation in the heart of London. They are market leaders looking for an in house Energy & sustainability specialist who has the ability to lead the companies Net Zero targets.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for on site Engineering and maintenance ensuring that the day–to–day operation are conducted to high standard and also done in line with our net Zero Carbon strategy.
- Driving and implementing company Net Zero targets and reporting these to different stakeholders
- Ensuring that we are compliant with all relevant regulatory and non–financial reporting requirements
- Managing and overseeing all different maintenance services including waste management, energy management and engineering work ensure they are all done sustainably.
- Responsible for service / contractors budget and ensuring effective management of funds.
- Build GHG emissions inventory
- Develop reduction targets and implement and drive these plans in line with Net Zero targets.
- Lead GHG emissions calculations (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
- Increase company ESG rating by targeting SBTi initiatives
- Feed all this information back to internal / external stakeholders
- Responsible for the daily management and longer–term strategy of Maintenance & Engineering, Waste Management, Utilities Management and other contracted related to Sustainability/Environmental,
- Contribute to global contracts to ensure services align with all group targets.
- Minimum educated to degree level (Engineering/ Environmental/Energy)
- Strong Facilities Management experience, previous experience leading a team
- Experience managing a budget and performing to financial targets
- Strong character with ability to implement change and drive, lead projects.
