You're a credible sales professional from inkjet, marking or coding? We're recruiting a Sales Director who will step up to Managing Director within 18 months. We're a successful, profitable, owner managed supplier of inkjet, marking and coding machinery and SaaS software solutions and we need a hands–on commercial leader to drive our business forward at our site in Northampton.
BASIC SALARY: Up to GBP80,000
BENEFITS:
OTE circa +GBP20,000 in year one and +GBP40,000 in year two

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Director, Managing Director Designate – Marking, Coding, Inkjet, PPMA
Initially, this Sales Director roles is a front–line sales role covering the UK, managing circa GBP1 million of existing business and developing new business selling a full range of inkjet, coding or marking solutions (incorporating machinery, software, service and consumables) to a customer base as diverse as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Industrial Printing, Logistics and Building Materials etc.
Your target will be to double sales to GBP2 million turnover per annum in the first 2 years and then to recruit and manage a sales team whilst managing nominated house accounts.

You will be responsible for developing, writing and executing business plans (incorporating both a commercial and operation remit)

Encapsulate our company culture, ethos, and standards.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Director, Managing Director Designate – Marking, Coding, Inkjet, PPMA
You MUST have a proven track record as both a salesperson and as a Sales Manager who has managed and / or mentored sales professionals working within the inkjet, coding & marking market.
You MUST be happy to be a front–line salesperson initially for the first 12 to 18 months and then to be actively involved in managing nominated house accounts whilst recruiting and managing a sales team.
You MUST actively utilise and understand the mechanics of value–added selling techniques.
You MUST have a track record of sales at a Senior, Managing Director, Board or "C" Suite level.
Ideally you will have a technical or engineering background.
Ideally, you will be conversant and understand SaaS.
Ideally, you will have experience and understanding of selling leasing as an equipment acquisition option.

We're a very well established value added distributor – supplying top of the range inkjet, marking and coding solutions (incorporating machinery, software, servicing and consumables). After a buy–out in 2021, we have progressed from loss making to a profitable company in the last 2 years. We have invested heavily in our online presence, a CRM system and digital marketing. The scene is set for exponential growth over the next chapter. Can you get us where we want to be?
