Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a large engineering company who are currently seeking an experienced Lead Control Systems Engineer who will assist with design development for DCS, PLC and SCADA based process control systems for clients and projects.

What will you be doing:
Evaluate and select instrument, control valve and analyzer solutions. Review vendor documentation for compliance to project and process specifications.
Develop the design of process control and automation systems in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with client counterpart to develop control systems concepts, architectures and control platforms as applied to the client project.
Prepare MTO based on experience and scope of project.
Work with end users and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) to coordinate application of automation products.
Perform automation related job functions as assigned, including, I/O lists, Instrumentation lists and the specification of instrumentation and control element.
Support risk assessments, including SIL, LOPA and HAZOP.
Assist in developing the safety requirement specification (SRS), working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC61511

And a couple of things you should know:
Control system – ICSS/PCS/SGS experience
MAC working knowledge (Main Automation contractor) vendor Yokogawa/Triconex
Process control narrative/Cause & Effect / SIL analysis hands on
Aramco standards/projects experience preferred
Greenfield or brown field Engineering design experience essential.
