Interim HR Director

Tyne & Wear (Ref 565) temporary circa 5–6 months

GBP65k –GBP75k p.a.

Our client is preparing for overall business transformation and has an urgent need for an experienced HR Lead to support the Exec team through this period of change. With excellent stakeholder management experience you will support the leadership team and the overall HR function. The role is both strategic and operational and will require a hands on approach.

Key accountabilities:

• Lead the HR team which includes Recruitment, HR and Payroll within the shared service centre model
• Create a short term HR agenda
• Culture change management, leading to manager accountability
• Ensure HR Policies and Procedures are up to date and rolled out to the business
• Work with the unions to continue the good relationship with HR and the business overall

Qualifications, Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Experience at Head of HR or HR Director level
• Excellent stakeholder management experience
• Strategic and operational experience
• Excellent influencing skills
• Union experience ideally
