Project Manager – Corporate Development (FTC)

Purpose: This role is responsible for the support of Corporate Development and Exco initiatives in line with Global Marine Group strategy.

Key Deliverables:

Corporate Development

• Acting as interface with shareholder to support a variety of projects
• Securing, vetting high quality information to support external advisors, driving internal activity as necessary
• Develop answers to unstructured questions, going beyond the face to deliver the requirement
• Providing management support to Acquisitions and Mergers and a variety of key projects, operating discretely and confidentially
• Driving forward strategically significant and or complex commercial / negotiation issues from a conceptual stage through to commercially viable business propositions
• Providing management reports and other relevant market and competitor intel as required
• Support of existing partner relationships
• Researching and analysing data to support strategy development and delivery

• Ad–hoc requests

Exco and Group Leadership team

• Co–ordinate and support
  • Exco activity with shareholders
  • Management review meetings (OMMs) including recording and driving delivery of actions agreed
• Co–ordinate all formal reporting to shareholders to include, amongst others;
  • Monthly performance review process and drafting GMG management report
  • Quarterly Board Reporting, coordinating with shareholder team
  • Ad–hoc shareholder requests
• Design and implement processes to support reporting and understanding of business performance

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Required:

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work across organisational boundaries and to be an energiser and motivator of in such an environment
• High degree of personal organisation and the ability to deliver under demanding and time pressured conditions
• Ability to assess complex situations and identify information to support actions, recommendations and conclusions
• A willingness and ability to undertake travel
• Ability to work flexibly and effectively both in person and remotely
