Interim FP&A Lead

Highly acquisitive Group based in Bristol has an exciting opportunity for an Interim FP&A Lead to join them on 6–9 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will act as a strong business partner to the CFO and broader management team, supporting commercial and operational decision–making across the organisation. Not only will you drive the annual budget and forecast processes, you'll also drive improvements through management reporting and transparent business insight

Role

As a experienced Big4 trained professional with c3+yrs PQE, you are commercially astute and analytically adept, to help drive and develop the performance and strategy of this growing business. Collaborating with business and analytics teams to understand performance drivers, impacts and business outlook, you will build detailed bottom up revenue forecast models. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Coaching & leading a decicated FP&A team
• Business partnering with multiple stakeholders across different functions and seniority to identify underlying business drivers and inputs.
• Overseeing detailed financial analysis and review to support the decision making processes of the business, including the production of business cases
• Challenging performance and being a driver for positive change via accurate and timely insight into trends and performance
• Conducting industry research and competitor benchmarking to discuss with the wider leadership team
• Responsibility for Board presentations of Management Information and investment appraisal

About You

You will be a qualified accountant, you will likely have had exposure to either commercial finance or FP&A functions previously within a high growth business. With the ability to switch between strategic and operational thinking to help drive the business forward, you will have commercial drive, passion and commitment to delivering change through actions and influence. .
