Interim Assistant Financial Controller

Our client is a big player in the FMCG Business, looking to hire a Temporary Controlling Analyst to support the Financial Controller. This is an incredible opportunity for a newly qualified accountant, looking to work in a challenging and fast–paced environment. This is a London based role offering Hybrid working and a salary of around GBP300 a day including holiday pay.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Having a strong understanding of the operating model for all markets and ensure that the ERP set up supports the financial flows.
• Define and implement new key controls for Purchase To Pay, Order To Cash and Record to Report cycles.
• Support local teams to explain new ways of working and lead training sessions on new tools – Active participation in the new ERP solution design.
• Bring initiatives to harmonize and streamline new processes.
• Support the Control and tax TSA exit and the handover activities.
• Coordinate the external audit for UK and Ireland and provide the requested documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant with 1–3 years of post qualified experience, ideally in the FMCG sector. The perfect candidate will be a self–starter with a can–do attitude.
