Head of Sales Director

Our client is a very successful MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) solutions provider and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Head of Sales (Director).

The role is a senior appointment within the business and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategy and to drive the business forward.

The role will involve frequent international travel.

The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for developing and implementing your sales strategy for increased business growth.Promoting the sales of Repair Maintenance and Operations (MRO) solutions including replacement machinery, spare parts, overhauls etc etc you will establish and maintain strong relationships with global corporate clients and cultivate sales both existing and new clients.The position will ultimately reward success with progression to a directorship and potential stake holding in the business.Candidate:

You will be an experienced sales professional with excellent technical and engineering knowledge. Applicants with experience in selling either RMO solutions and / or selling packaging machinery to the food, beverage or pharmaceutical sectors are encouraged to apply.You will be a professional sales person comfortable with in a role requiring 'hands–on' sales and field sales activities targeting corporate directors and decision makers within FMCG manufacturing sectors.You will display all the interpersonal qualities associated with a successful high level sales professional.A recognised engineering qualification(s) would be advantageous. You must be prepared to undertake frequent International travel.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday (40 hours)
