Role: Interim Procurement Manager – Logistics OUTSIDE IR35 & REMOTE

Contract – 6 months

Day rate: 500– 600 p/d OUTSIDE IR35

Remote working Occasional travel to site in Scotland

Are you an Interim Procurement Manager with category experience in Logistics, ready to start a new project? This fanastic new role is working for a renowned FMCG company, to implement a competitive sourcing project run on Logistics requirements. This will include Ocean Freight, UK Road Haulage, EU Road Haulage and UK Train Freight services.

The scope of the project includes 2PL services, which could include some warehouse services, but will mainly focus on logistics services. Spend circa 11.5m

The services to be tendered are: UK Road Haulage for: Finished goods into retailers' distribution centres and key ports (Liverpool and Felixstowe mainly);

Raw materials coming into the UK at key ports (Liverpool and Felixstowe mainly), we occasionally utilise the EXW incoterm (these services are sometimes delivered in combination with UK Rail Freight Services). EU Road Haulage for:

Finished goods into EU retailers' distribution centres;

Raw materials. Ocean Freight for: Finished goods from key ports (Liverpool and Felixstowe mainly) to North America, Japan, Middle East and Australia;

Raw materials coming into the UK from China.
