Position Overview

Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Director to oversee all commercial functions within the business group. Reporting to the Managing Director, role will involve helping to increase annual turnover and profit, whilst providing commercial stewardship of various contracts; developing, maintaining and controlling commercial processes commensurate with the company?s management systems and corporate governance in conjunction with the Operations Director, General Managers and Commercial / Operational teams.

? They work on multi–million–pound contracts for tier 1 clients, blue chip clients.

? Sectors they specialise in include; Demolition, Enabling, Asbestos, Remediation, Refurbishment, Structural alterations, amongst other areas.

? Over the next year they anticipate growth to continue and feel that an established and ambitious Estimator would be the perfect addition to the team.

Responsibilities include;

? Building strong commercial teams by a combination of successful recruitment and mentoring of existing staff through involvement and support in tender and project review processes with a focus on ensuring contractual

? Demonstrate a clear and effective alignment with the operational objectives and the commercial interests of the company.

? Responsible for developing proposals and embedding robust compliant reporting systems suitable for commercial, financial and programme monitoring and success

? Annual budget setting,

? Provide timely information, analysis, advice and support to the General Managers and Directors.

Essential experience and skills

? Experience in senior commercial role within demolition, enabling, or related fields

? Educated to degree level or equivalent

? Demonstrate a clear and effective alignment with the operational objectives and the commercial interests of the company.
