This is an excellent opportunity to join a Government department and be heavily involved in organising an upcoming event due to take place September 2023.

Please note this a 6–month temporary contract and full–time. The office is London based.

Your new role
Day – to day– you will provide the operational interface between DBT and Invest Northern Ireland (INI) who will be responsible for operational delivery of the event.

You will lead on the agreement that will be put in place between DBT and INI defining roles and responsibilities for operational delivery of the event. In addition you will lead on any DBT led event management contract assuring close management and value for money.

You'll work closely with DBT MarComms to develop look and feel, brand etc. for event Support set up and lead for DBT on event operational delivery governance group.

Significant contract management and operational delivery skills and of event delivery (World/Priority events preferred)
Ability to adapt and re–prioritise to deliver against tight timelines
Able to see the bigger picture as well as an eye for detail.
Strong budget management, seeking value for money.
Experience of working with international contractors and partners, and of managing risks.

What you'll get in return

• 450 – 550 per day plus Hybrid working options.
