Mechanical Project Manager

The Client

Mech Electrics are currently working on behalf of our client, a major M&E contractor who specialise in the renewable energy sector. We are looking to secure a Mechanical Project Manager to be based from their Scotland office near Glasgow and to manage & visit sites throughout Scotland. Your role will be to oversee multiple sites with the assistance of Site Managers, who will be based full–time at each project. The Role and its Responsibilities

As Mechanical Project Manager in this travelling role you will be working on varying sites and be accountable for the following;

• Management of project from procurement to final commissioning and handover stage
• Working alongside the commercial teams
• Management of sub–contractors
• Cost scheduling
• Engineering programming
• Design and compliance
• Assuming full responsibility for all Mechanical works
• Competent management of large teams
• Working to time and budget constraints
• The overseeing of sub–contractors, their working standards and compliance
• Production of costings, billings and progress reports
• Health and Safety compliance
• Commercial awareness

The Individual

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager individual who is confident and has excellent communication skills. A self–motivated individual, you must be able to effectively manage your team whilst maintaining the highest of standards of the work produced. You should also be prepared to travel with this role as this vacancy will require you to work on varying sites across Scotland, such as energy centres and batttery storage facilities.

Skills and Qualifications

• IT literate
• HNC qualification in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Ablitiy to organise own schedule
• Previous experience within a building services role

Salary and Package

GBP62–65K per annum plus car/allowance and excellent company benefits.
