ISQ Recruitment is seeking skilled and experienced Control System Engineer to join one of our Clients based in Norfolk. As part of a team, you will work closely with a talented group of engineers and technicians, collaborating on a variety of projects evolving around electric powertrain systems and electric motors.
The main purpose of this role is to research, develop, define, test, validate, debug, estimate and make all the systems function independently and in integration with each other on High Voltage and Low Voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and develop accurate models for energy analysis and range estimations for vehicle sales pitch.
Research and develop highly accurate State of Charge models and State of health model for integration to solve issues.
Learn, test and validate the functionalities of various components High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV)
Electrical wiring development and validation
Software development, testing and validation for Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Powertrain Systems
Continual assistance with problem solving during research, development, testing, validation and post–delivery to the customers.
Technical project and customer management responsibility
Interaction with potential suppliers and testing potential products.
Continuous Improvement and Total Integration
Analyse issues, document and manage.
Manage technicians and support other engineers when necessary.
Strong ability to work alone on projects, when necessary
Take care of all BMS related developments of the company with no additional colleagues with current working knowledge

Key Skills and Relevant Experience
Overall vehicle knowledge on communication and control
2 years of international experience in automotive with Master's degree in Automotive engineering
Working knowledge of lean philosophy
Demonstrate full understanding of engineering drawings, electrical schematics, LV and HV training.
Experience working with difference ECUs or control units.
Knowledge of CAN communication and corresponding tools like Vector CANalyzer, CAN db , CAN Case, Kvaser CAN logger and Peak CAN
Understand on Battery and powertrain control systems.
Willingness to travel on a short notice.
Issue management tools like Gitlab
Software development tools like Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Motohawk and Mototune
Experience with data management tools like Vector datalogger GL1000/GL2000, datalogger Suite
Excellent application of Microsoft Office, Project and PowerPoint presentations
Excellent team working skills, interpersonal skills and a positive can do attitude.
