Summary: Grows and expands the Company's global FSP business development initiatives by leading business development team and fostering relationships with key decision–makers at biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies Using strong relationship building skills, this role will engages C–level personnel to ensure the Company maintains and develops competitive FSP business models with the potential to become long term and meaningful partners in FSP. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of building relationships, forming strategic partnerships, growing a book of business globally and being an effective leader. Job Responsibilities: Partners with the business development team to drive growth in FSP business from new awards. Collaborates with the head of Global Business Development and operational leaders to establish goals for the development and growth of the FSP business. Creates annual and long term business plans for accounts in collaboration with business developers. Determines the strategy for further development of business opportunities and strategic alliances for FSP business. Reviews plans on a quarterly basis to determine where adjustments may be required. Plans, implements and reviews monthly objectives of the FSP sales action plan, motivating and communicating with the BD team and operations on sales action goals and objectives. Maintains professional and up–to–date knowledge in Company designated targeted FSP areas and the Company's services capabilities (clinical, data management, statistics, medical writing, etc.) to serve as a basis for providing "value added" expanded services to all appropriate clients. Facilitates updates with the business development team, covering new capabilities in FSP provision in the clinical research industry, and shapes the development of the FSP business within Syneos Health in a way that will be compelling for customers and challenge the historic way of doing things through creativity and innovation Acts as a senior consultant and thought leader in the industry as it relates to novel, innovative and transformative FSP models driving Syneos Health credibility, respect and trust with external and internal stakeholders. Qualifications What we're looking for: BA/BS degree in a science related field, or equivalent related experience, plus extensive experience in FSP clinical research, including business development and management and/or senior management experience. An advanced degree such as MBA/PhD/MD highly preferred. Requires strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail with superior presentation, documentation, negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills and a strong team–oriented approach. Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines. Must have valid, current driver's license and ability to secure corporate credit card.
