UK Head of Sales Packaging Premedia/Prepress

Competitive base salary DOE + Commission, expenses

Homebased UK

Due to growth plans for 2023, my client is looking for a UK based Packaging Pre–Media sales expert to join its team.

As the UK Head of Sales, you will use your existing knowledge in service–based premedia sales to identify leads and prospects across the UK ideally within the retail, FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors. You will sell all product lines to achieve defined sales budgets, prepare business plans for the UK market together with the sales team with the view of securing new sales to secure long–term clients.

You will benefit from working for a progressive business with realistic expectations that has been established for over 70 years. With 400+ staff on digital services side of the business, it has clients across Europe, Africa, Australia and America, and as a group turnover more than $500 million.

To be suitable for this opportunity, you will ideally have an existing network of brands within the retail, FMCG and/or pharmaceutical markets. You must have experience in selling Packaging Premedia/Prepress services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales strategies and action plans for the UK market
  • Initiate and coordinate the development and execution of agreed strategies and action plans, both product and market related
  • Perform customer visits and prepare to visit reports to discuss the next steps
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performance and market developments
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing and service offers for all completed prospect applications submitted for approval
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports locally and regionally
  • Create, conduct, and assist sales proposal presentations as and when needed
  • Monthly reporting
  • Pricing and contribution margin analysis as well as positioning
  • Manages and self–controls expenses to meet budget, travel, and other company guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics code

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field
  • Good understanding of the packaging Premedia industry of all the sectors
  • Strong interpersonal skills and great team player. Self–driven and motivated to develop a business
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • A network with brand owners and end–users is a plus
