Head of Delegate Sales – B2B Conferences

Are you a Head of Delegate Sales with 5–7 years' experience in B2B Conferences, have proven man–management, building and recruiting a sales team?

A well–known Publisher/Conference organiser based in London is looking for a skilled Head of Delegate Sales like you to work on their Healthcare portfolio of events for the UK and Global market.

You are an energetic sales leader with the know–how required to lead and manage a b2b events delegate sales team. You can take full responsibility for leading, managing and inspiring a specialist sales team to deliver the results required. Creating, executing, and articulating clear sales plans for each event product, is a priority for you. You enjoy sales strategy as much as tactical sales planning as delivering results really matters to you, so you approach your work with a planned yet agile, responsive, and can–do mindset. You enjoy developing people and work hard at creating the right balance between driving the team to achieve the goal, alongside ensuring a happy and fulfilled team.

As Head of Delegate Sales specialising in B2B conferences you will be;

  • Deliver the budgeted attendee revenue and sales targets
  • Lead a delegate sales team, working closely with them to deliver their best performance through ongoing coaching, roll play and sales leadership.
  • Create a sales strategy that supports the companies 3yr plan
  • Develop individual event sales plans that exceed budgeted revenues by securing the right volume of attendees on all products which include Awards, Conferences and Summits
  • Manage, coach, train and motivate your delegate sales team and create a great sales culture
  • Determine and measure relevant KPIs to provide visibility, that help you succeed
  • Embed and evolve good sales process to ensure your team are effective and efficient
  • Evolve the sales function by identifying and implementing initiatives that improve effectiveness and efficiency

This London based events business produce B2B Conferences in the UK and globally across several B2B sectors, so you will be joining a well–known brand with a strong foothold in the events market.

Working as Head of Delegate Sales, you'll be earning 50,000 – 60,000 (with an OTE 90/100K+Very good benefits, based on performance.)
