Business Analyst
Location: Preston, Farnborough or Portsmouth
3 Days per Week On–Site
We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role
Our client is looking for a multi–disciplined Business Analyst who can elicit and articulate requirements with the business and many other stakeholders. Someone who can understand the problem and articulate this. You will be working with our client on their huge defence account. You should be confident in Process Mapping and Business Benefits.
Key Tasks
- Working closely with business partners to understand user needs
- Building highly collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Translating problems or requirements into user stories and defining acceptance criteria
- Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes/requirements.
- Conduct regular deep dives, gap analysis and provide recommendations
- Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
- Contribute to sprint planning sessions, daily stand ups and retrospectives
- Analytical thinking, problem–solving and communication skills are core to effective business analysis
- Setting up and participation/facilitation in Workshops to identify and document requirements issues.
- Escalation of any potential issues, risks or defects uncovered as appropriate.
Key Skills and Experience
- Able to document requirements clearly and concisely and understand business benefits
- Process Mapping.
- Self–motivated, flexible and adaptable.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Experience Ideal.
- Experience in an Agile working environment and with Agile methodologies and techniques.
- Experience of Confluence and Jira.
- Experience with the Windows Suite and MS Office applications.
- Defence experience Ideal.
- Ideally SC Eligible.
