M&E Project Manager

Carbon60 are looking to recruit an M&E Project and Works Manager to work for a Global Commercial Real estate company in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a large company with a great salary and benefits package, and plenty of room to progress.

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 60,000– 70,000

The Role:

• Identifying and generate project opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts.
• Work with developers, designers, and sub–contractors to define and document scope of work.
• Manage, run, and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required.
• Work within the current CDM process.
• Identify, reduce, and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise associated with each project.
• Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions.
• To build strong relationships with sub–contractors in particular preferred supplies to ensure cost effective solutions which meets our quality expectations.
• Manage the day–to–day operational aspects of the projects end to end.
• Full accountability for the P&L on each project.

The Successful Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years proven Project Management experience in an M&E, FM, Construction, or critical environment.
• Experience of turnkey delivery
• Proven experience of running a P&L
• Experience managing a team
• Commercial awareness
• Strong financial acumen
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Internal and external customer management experience
• Up to date knowledge the construction marker
• Fully competent with Project Management methodology
