Head of Sales (Interiors)
Based Leeds with some travelling.
Salary – 65k – 70k

They produce authentic wool fabrics and accessories for leading fashion brands and interior designers worldwide and are one of a select few in the UK who can perform all processes at a single site.
This is a newly created role that has come about by the successful and continued growth of this company and forms an integral part of the strategic direction of the company.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Head of Interior Sales role is responsible for driving the commercial success of the interior fabric section of the business. The successful candidate will lead the interior sales team, providing ongoing support, direction, best practice in–line with business objectives, requirements, and company standards. In addition, you will collaborate with sales leadership across our product sectors to build an aligned, engaged, and high performing sales team. This role is pivotal within the company to continue the company's growth trajectory by:
- Achieving global commercial success for our interiors fabric section
- Further developing the interiors business in alignment with brand vision
- Providing leadership to a global network of motivated, proactive, and successful agents enabling the company to achieve its growth goals.
- Providing market insight and feedback into product development cycle to ensure long–standing market relevance.
- Building an aligned, engaged, and high performing interior sales team
Essential Skills & Competencies
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a senior commercial role with a demonstrable track record of success in both a national and international arena.
- At least 5 years' relevant industry experience connected to the interiors sector in a senior sales or prominent sales position.
- Intrinsic knowledge of the Interiors industry, particularly higher–end residential and hospitality sectors and associated target markets.
- Experience growing product and brand equity.
- Strong commercial acumen (preferably with a business–related degree)
- Project management experience
- Business improvement experience
- Experience of CRM and ERP platforms and methodologies is advantageous
- Comfortable dealing with technology, data, and analytics
- Team player with people management experience – ability to develop and nurture team members. People and culture are at the forefront of this organisation.
