What you will do

The Sustainable Infrastructure Senior Project Manager/ Execution Manager is a key interface between JCI and our customers for the successful execution of agreed performance contract deliverables. Provider oversight and leadership on the collaboration between diverse JCI product project managers and external sub–contractors within an assigned program/scope of work to plan and execute Sustainable Infrastructure (SI) projects. Responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including delivering on time, on/under budget, to quality and highest possible project savings, and ensuring that all work performed is compliant within all legal, statutory and country specific requirements.

How you will do it

You will be contractually and commercially astute plus technically proficient and have experience managing diverse programs of works/multiple projects of high value and complexities to deliver excellence to our customers on their route to Net Zero.

You will work with global cross functional teams to ensure strategy and execution alignment and successful delivery of projects.

You will be responsible for the delivery of complex Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) customer projects utilising JCI in house project managers and resources alongside external (predominately construction) industry sub–contractors.

What we look for

Required

5+ years' experience of project management on medium or large size projects (preferably within an Energy Performance, buildings improvement or construction environment)
Bachelor's degree or a min. 10 years–experience within Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
Able to travel/work away from home up to 50% of the time
APMP and/or Prince 2 certification
IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualified
Experience in CDM including principal designer and principal contractor responsibilities
Risk Management expertise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
Experience with all industry standard contracts
High level of financial and commercial acumen with experience in budget management and benefits realisation
Strong Computer skills: MS Projects, MS Office (excel, word, power point), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment
