Project Manager HS2

Our client is one of the UK s leading concrete frame specialists, operating throughout the UK, they are a sub–contractor to national and regional Main Contractors, project values between GBP10million – GBP50million, in the Commercial, Rail, Leisure and Education sectors.

The company are looking for a Project Manager to deliver a FRC Structure / Tunnel project as part of the HS2 project.

Main duties include accountability for the following:

• Manage the day–to–day working, from ensuring the correct material turns up before a job, to explaining the work ethics and activities to colleagues.

• Managing the Site Engineer, Foremen, labour and plant

• Communication and information flow with the Contracts Manager and the client

• Implementing the Company Health & Safety Management Systems and Procedures and Quality Assurance Procedures

• Reporting progress , maintain and update project reporting, checkpoints and financial reporting

• Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work starts

Experience Required:

• FRC (Fibre Reinforced Concrete) experience essential

• Large infrastructure project experience over GBP20million

• Ideally worked for FRC subcontractor under NEC3/4 form of contract

• Experienced Temporary Works Co–ordinator

• Engineering background preferable
