Financial Controller

RECfinancial is working with a high growth FMCG business based in Leicestershire with their search to appoint a new Financial Controller. The business is incredible and has seen significant growth over the last 5 years (including during covid) and they expect to double their turnover in the next three years – which is currently just under 200 million.

The role is based at the firm's head office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, Northamptonshire and the Coventry / Warwickshire area.

Reporting to and working with the Finance Director, the Financial Controller role is broad and will cover all aspects of the control of the balance sheet and developing the businesses monthly reporting and the financial information that is presented to the board and the wider business.

The business is full of opportunity and the role will include the opportunity to be exposed to M&A, integrating new businesses and adding value by owning improvements in efficiencies to the finance department as the business grows.

The role will best suit a candidate who is comfortable with the technical aspects of accounting as well as working with the business to add value, looking at improvements in efficiencies through process improvements and technology.

It's essential to be qualified in either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA and it's likely that you will be in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role. The business will also consider candidates who are either working within industry or first / second time movers from practice.

You will be working with a great Finance Director who has a focus on working with the business to grow. They are well experienced and a great mentor to work with.

The role has a salary range of between 60,000 and 70,000 plus benefits
