We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, to join our Land Systems team in a role that executes a variety project management tasks within a Joint PMO and manages all aspects of RAIDO (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunities) and Benefits Management on a GBP700M electronic countermeasures System Integration and Support programme for our MoD customer. As well as working on this important project for Marshall, you will be integrated within the customer–facing programme delivery team alongside our Partner (Defence Prime) organisations.

Your responsibilities include:

Represent Marshall Land Systems within the prime contractor consortium project management team, and directly to the MoD end customer, to drive the project's success.
Embedded with a joint PMO with the end customer and our prime contractor consortium, perform a variety of project management tasks as required.
Define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for the project, documenting these in a RACI matrix in the Project Management Plan (PMP).
Create and maintain a risk management plan for the programme.
Maintain and manage a RAIDO log, interacting with the MoD customer and the stakeholders across the consortium for the various sub–projects as required.
Create and maintain a benefits management plan for the programme.
Identify opportunities afforded by customer scope growth to increase contract worth.

For this role you will have had a range of project management experience and be comfortable professionally representing the organisation to a variety of external stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is pro–active and capable of elaborating and completing a variety of project management tasks from high level direction only, planning how to execute the tasks, collaborating with stakeholders to agree the plan, then executing it.

Pro–active manager comfortable with driving tasks through to completion using your own initiative.
Degree or equivalent by relevant experience
Demonstrable track record of project management best practice.
Minimum 3 years Project Management & Controls experience, including some experience in the area of Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependency, Opportunity and Benefits Management
APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) would be beneficial
Customer–facing or Project Management Consulting experience would be beneficial.
Experience within a defence context is desirable but not essential.
This role will require the ability to gain security clearance to work on UK national programmes.
