Head Of Department Commercial Property

Central Employment is pleased to be working with a leading SME company within the legal sector, they specialize in commercial and property law. There currently looking for a Head Of Department to join their small team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Purpose of the Head Of Department Commercial Property:

This is a senior opportunity for someone already at the 'Head of level who is commercially focused, and has experience of managing commercial deals, ideally from telecom or (large scale) property background.

Key Responsibilities:

• accountable for all commercial aspects of engagement with multiple strategic suppliers (looking at existing contracts – analysis, negotiation, governance, and closure – to deliver greater rights)
• Accountable for ensuring strategic objectives are aligned to each commercial deal
• Managing teams (including Surveyors, Business Analysts, Data Analysts etc)
• Responsible for managing the commercial strategy, interfaces, progress updates, and reporting in alignment with all supplier negotiations
• Provision of all commercial deliverables (eg negotiation plan, contract risk analysis, benefits analysis, and contract creation and closure)
• Managing complex contracts.

Essential Experience:

• The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:Qualified solicitor; and NQ 7+ years PQE within a residential conveyancing department.
