Description and requirements

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to work with the Building Services FM Operations Director. You wil partner with the FM project management teams and lead the people plan. You will develop, line manager and support 2 Associate HR Business Partners and be a tactical practitioner and account manager for all HR matters, working with shared specialist resources utilising the 'one Skanska' philosophy.

Key responsibilities:

• Demonstrate role modelling of, and be ambassador for, HR business partnering across your areas.

• Develop a thorough understanding of how the FM projects are commercially viable and add value through people related activities.

• Develop robust relationships with managers and gain their respect to be able to influence decision making.

• Support the Senior HRBP with resource forecasting for your dedicated areas with a focus on onboarding to minimise unhealthy turnover

• Manage employee relations matters effectively to promote a high–performance culture.

• Support the Senior HRBP to execute all annual events effectively to promote performance related remuneration.

• Support, develop and line manage 2 Associate HRBP's.

• Effectively champion the engagement survey and outputs to leverage engagement levels across the OU and work with areas which require interventions

• Drive talent review process for functional areas and work with teams to ensure succession plan in place for key roles.

• Ensure that talent is identified and developed.

• Contribute towards L&D plans where relevant.

• Support Senior HRBP to identify areas of skill shortages and any demographic trends of concern.

We are looking for:

• Previous Line management of a team.

• Proven delivery in the key areas of generalist HR.

• Experience of TUPE (both in and out)

• Experience in coaching line managers through people matters.

• A thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law, and experience of practical application of this in a complex business environment.

• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

• Track record of building credible relationships

• Resilient – able to face challenges proactively and comfortable dealing with senior management of the organisation.

• Able to work as part of a team; demonstrates the ability to network effectively up, down and across the business.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the right balance of empathy, rigour and energy.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as first class presentation ability.

• MCIPD qualified.
