The Index Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy and campaigns to support MSCI's ambitious Index business growth objectives. The marketing organization at MSCI is a dynamic and fast–growing global function responsible for marketing and communicating our solutions and services to the world's investors to help them build better portfolios.
As a leading provider of data and tools, we continue to grow our global footprint with institutional investors, asset/wealth managers, banks, hedge funds, pension funds, advisors and corporations.
This is a highly collaborative role, with great opportunity for impact, and will involve working across MSCI product lines, and with members of the marketing team in PR, design, digital, email, events and content.

We are looking for a proactive, action–oriented marketing professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for building a more sustainable future.
The VP of Index Product Marketing, will report into the Global Head of Index Marketing based in New York and work closely with the EMEA team leads across sales, product, marketing and research.
The candidate should have a strong background in product marketing and marketing communications with an emphasis on creating messaging, competitive positioning and go to market campaigns. The ideal candidate is a savvy, creative professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience who takes pride in being a proactive, ambitious and self–directed individual.

Your key responsibilities
- Partners with regional Index product, research, sales and consultants' heads across the EMEA to ensure regional marketing plans and strategy are consistent and integrated with global priorities and growth objectives. Serves as primary point of contact for Index marketing in EMEA.
- Works closely with Head of Index Marketing in London to develop marketing plans to stimulate ongoing interest and growth in Index solutions globally
- Tracks and produces meaningful metrics for the business and offers fact–based insights to help guide strategies for brand positioning, client retention and development, pricing, product innovation, industry partnerships, and cost–effective methods for attracting new business
- Collaborates with Sales, Consulting and Client Service teams to identify marketing challenges and opportunities and find productive ways to address them
- Delivers compelling benefits–driven stories and content (i.e. digital content and campaigns, sales presentations, educational tools, talking points, webpages, newsletter articles, product insight papers, client case studies, events etc.) to drive and support MSCI Index leadership and growth objectives
- Manages the relationship with partners, suppliers and sustainable industry associations across EMEA.
- Manages and executes the allocated budget for the EMEA region and report on ROI of launches and wider campaigns
- Monitors and maintains awareness of new trends and the changing landscape of Index investing and policy across EMEA and adapt marketing and communications plans accordingly
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- At least 10 years of relevant marketing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in related field
- Good understanding of financial services and the investment process
- Demonstrated understanding and passion for Index investing and/or ETFs
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects/plans and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop, refine and communicate the various voices and messages of the company to key stakeholders; as well as strong project management skills to coordinate and influence the different teams globally
- Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders across corporate environments, professional services, etc.
