Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager (Accounts Receivable) with one of their leading privately owned higher educational businesses in West London on a 6–month Fixed Term Contract. This is also a temporary to permanent opportunity. The business has seen a good amount of growth, over the past four years in particular, and as a result, are looking to add this position to the finance team. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager who is highly organised, strategic and keen to develop their skillset.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all accounts receivable transactions for the business
- Develop strong financial strategies to control revenues and maximise cash flow through managing accounts receivable services.
- Develop an efficient fees and income collection service to provide accurate, effective reporting and forecasting to Senior Management and the Board.
- Ensure all fees are collected in line with company policy and minimise any debtors
- Receipt reconciliation from partnered universities and Student Finance to ensure income targets and deadlines are met.
- Work closely with the admissions and administrative teams to ensure Student Finance eligibility is checked and all students have records of Student Loan Application or self–funding agreement.
- To provide Management accurate information to prospective and existing students with detailed monthly management reports relating to tuition fee collection including statistical data and an effective analysis and comparator position in relation to the student debt.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified by experience, ACCA, ACA, CIMA Qualified or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years experience of accounts receivables
- Strong communication skills
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Able to use statistics and database management
