Director of People
Location: Stratford – Upon – Avon
Salary: up to GBP60,000 plus bonus based on company performance
Salary is negotiable for exceptional candidates
40 hour contract
Unique Senior Care are seeking a Director of People to join our Senior Leadership Team. In this brand new role The Director of People will lead the development of people strategies and plans to support the overall delivery of Unique Senior Care's objectives and ensuring these are delivered by highly motivated and appropriately skilled staff and supported by effective policies, procedures and best practice whose values reflect those of the company.

Key responsibilities
Lead the People department so that the best possible outcomes are achieved for the people we support
Support the implementation of the Retention and Engagement strategy and work collaboratively on corporate initiatives across Operations and People.
Support and advise the Senior Leadership and Management team on culture and people matters, reporting to the SLT where required.
Act as an innovative, solution focused leader, capable of driving the People team to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company.
Respond to company priorities with creative people solutions. Lead the development and delivery of the People Strategy to ensure that we deliver robust workforce plans, policies and practice that anticipate and support our strategic goals and values and that meet the needs of our clients
Develop a clear employer brand strategy and programme so that the workforce aligns with and actively contributes to our core purpose and goals and that our staff turnover remains lower than our peers
Develop a formal pay, reward, benefits and job evaluation strategy that builds engagement, ensures consistency in terms and conditions, and enables us to remain competitive in the external labour market
Ensure that employee recognition programmes are engaging, fit for purpose and cost effective.
Ensure that USC offers high–quality cost–effective learning and development activity that contributes to the achievement of our goals and maintains high levels of engagement.
Oversee our new people information system (ATS) for managers and the wider workforce
Work collaboratively to create clear routes for communication with colleagues so that they remain engaged in the wider organisation and its work
