The role
The difference our new Assistant Project Manager will make
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The Babcock Mission Systems project management team of about 160 people helps teams deliver their goals, whether they are customer contracts or business improvements. This award–winning team successfully delivers complex projects worldwide, operating right across different functions, and at the heart of delivery teams working with customers.
Day to day, you'll work with senior management and build cross business partnerships in delivering a number of strategic projects on time and to budget. This will include creating, updating and maintaining detailed production schedules, and contributing to programme weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.

Essential experience
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing/Operations environment
- Scheduling experience
- Strong use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project (or Primavera)
- Working with Supply Chain requisitions, task or works orders and tracking work package
- Experience of using IFS, or similar ERP system (desirable)
