Project Manager (PM)

Location: London/Bromley

Duration: 12 months

Day rate: GBP750 IR35

My high–profile banking client are recruiting for a Project Manager. The role is a Hybrid role which will require the candidate to work on site 3 days a week and 2 days from home, working normal office hours. The role will be an initial 12 month contracting position with the potential to extend.

Role Description:

This is an exciting role with significant influence over the ongoing development of an enterprise level traded product liquidity process and engagement with senior stakeholders across Global Markets, Treasury and Technology.

The PM will be responsible for planning and coordinating across multiple service providers multiple deliveries within the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery –e.g. kick–offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
  • Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
  • Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
  • Gathers, facilitates, and presents back the status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
  • Tracks progress with enterprise systems, including Jira.
  • Ensure the design is reviewed with the Global Markets and Enterprise architects.
  • Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.
  • Supports resource planning and budget tracking for delivery/execution.
  • Coordinates and plans with Global Markets, Treasury and Tech the Business user testing.

The Team:

The role sits within the Operations Technology team working directly with the development teams, business partners and stakeholders across Global Markets, Treasury and beyond.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the multi–year delivery of key workstreams, reporting into the GXPP Senior Delivery Lead.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience delivering complex projects to global stakeholders.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – written and verbal.
  • The ability to influence senior leaders and executives.
  • Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Office desired.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience delivering complex projects to global stakeholders in a Banking Environment.
  • Understanding of Trade Lifecycle, data management and settlement events a plus.
  • Knowledge of Treasury and Global Markets funding processes.
