Senior Business Analyst - Public Sector - Inside IR35

This is a great opportunity to join a well–known public sector organisation based in Taunton as a Senior Business Analyst on an initial 6 month contract.

My client is a central government organisation with a commercial focus, they are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support on a range of ongoing & upcoming projects.

Description

The successful Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:

• Taking vague objectives and liaising with a range of stakeholders to define structured business requirements
• Working closely with agile product owners to create user stories and acceptance criteria for new solutions
• Identifying the right internal stakeholders and gaining their buy–in, especially when resistant to change
• Translate complex systems & changes into well–defined BRDs for development & product teams
• Provide guidance and support on direction of project delivery

Profile

The successful Senior Business Analyst will possess:

• Significant business analysis experience, gained within an agile environment and ideally within the public sector
• Track record of agile delivery within a product driven organisation
• Solid understanding of business & enterprise architecture
• Ability to create a variety of models including data models, business process models, use cases and wireframes
• Ability to define acceptance criteria and oversee testing activities
• Excellent change management skills and a desire to take colleagues on the change journey
• Ability to gain SC clearance

Job Offer

GBP550 – GBP650 per day, dependent on experience (rate to umbrella)

This role is inside IR35

This role will require an active BPSS check before starting and the successful contractor must be eligible to obtain SC clearance
