Akkodis is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join our client on a 6 month initial contract, working on some exciting digital products and services, that will shape their future over the next few years!Role: Senior Business AnalystDuration: 6 MonthsRate: GBP650 – GBP689 per dayStatus: Inside IR35Location: Taunton, with flexible working varied from a couple times a week to a couple times a month depending on requirement. Key Skills/Experience1. Enterprise and business architecture. You understand and can apply the current target operating model to work. 2. Business process improvement. You know how to analyse current services and processes and can identify and implement opportunities to optimise these. You can help to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.3. Producing business cases and options analysis.4. Business analysis. You can investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing services. You know how to provide recommendations to solutions. You can work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities, and potential benefits available.5. Requirements definition and management. You know how to source requirements. You can facilitate the setting of business priorities for complex change initiatives. You can manage and implement requests for changes to baseline requirements.6. Stakeholder relationship management. You know how to identify important stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs, and work with teams to build relationships while also meeting user needs. You have the ability to take opposing views to reach consensus. You understand how to work with stakeholders and contribute to improving these relationships, using evidence to explain decisions made.7. Working within Agile development teams, writing User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria as required by the Product Owner. Sometimes working as a Product Owner.8. Produce a variety of models of the As–Is and To–Be situations. These shall include, but not be limited to:a. Activity Diagrams/ Business Process Modelsb. Data models (Class diagrams)c. State Transition Diagramsd. Use Casese. Wireframes.9. Testing (business analysis). You can review requirements, specifications and define test conditions. You can identify issues and risks associated with work while being able to analyse and report test activities and results. 10. Developing Change Management Plans.11. Developing training materials and delivering training for end users in new business processes and systems.Please note this role is an SC Cleared position, however we can consider applications even if you are not cleared. You must be eligible for SC clearance to be considered.
