Financial Accounting Manager –Hybrid workingMacildowie are recruiting for a very well regarded and successful, East Midlands business who require an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to support the business for the next c5mnths possibly longer, to manage the financial accounting and a small financial accounting team.As Financial Accounting Manager, the responsibilities include:

• Responsible for preparing regulatory financial and statutory reporting for several entities.
• Manage the close of the annual accounts process, leading the production of the statement of accounts, ensuring that financial transactions are accurately and completely recorded in the financial statements.
• Responsible for the monthly reporting on the group consolidated accounts
• Manage a small finance team
• Provide a professional and efficient financial service to facilitate sound financial management and control.
• Review, challenge and report on balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all governance rules are strictly applied
• Liaise with external and internal auditors

What are they looking for? Ideally someone qualified (ACA or ACCA or equivalent)Previous strong financial reporting experience plus experience of consolidating group accounts.Experience of managing a finance teamStrong interpersonal skills and communication skills are an absolute necessity.Requiring someone available immediately or at very short noticeHybrid working arrangement – 2 days office/3days home
