It's a step in the right direction, but still not enough.There are companies out there who are trying to drive this change forward on the commercial and financial side in the role of VP of Finance!Who would I be working for?A globally recognised media organisation that runs one of the largest digital queer social content brands in the world.We champion intersectional diversity, representation and inclusivity through four decades of history that has given rise to an unparalleled level of trust amongst the community with a dedicated, loyal audience.After the huge success of 2022, they're now on an ambitious and exciting growth journey and need the right team to do this!What's the role?:As our Vice President of Finance, reporting to the CEO and working alongside the operations team, you'll be a key player in shaping and implementing the financial processes of the business going forward. You will be responsible for overseeing the day–to–day financial operations of the company, including managing budgets and resources, implementing new systems and processes, and collaborating with teams across the organization to drive efficiency and effectiveness.The ideal candidate will be a systems and process–based thinker with a strong understanding of technology and its role in optimizing delivery and processes.You will be passionate and comfortable operating in a culturally diverse environment and able to handle challenging and uncomfortable conversations with grace and tact.What do I need to be able to do, and who do I need to be?:

• Someone who's thoughtful, measured and diligent in their approach to financial systems.
• A strong systems and processes–based thinker, with experience using technology to optimize delivery and processes.
• Experience working at the GBP5–10m turnover level.
• Someone with experience managing a financial scaleup internationally (US GAAP experience would be greatly beneficial).
• Experience working in the digital media sector and an understanding of the complexity of multiple revenue streams would be ideal.
• Bonus: Enjoys travelling.
