This market leading company specialise in the design, installation and commissioning of commercial Solar PV, EV charging and Battery Storage projects across the UK. The company have thrived in recent years and have an ever–growing portfolio of projects, and are now looking to expand their team by appointing an Operations director to facilitate future success.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing operational delivery across the business, from sale to project delivery. General duties include managing the technical, project delivery and operational support teams, ensuring ISO standards are met, reporting on performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing the O&M function.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in an operations / project management role within the electrical / renewable sector or similar. Candidates must be electrically qualified or have proven knowledge and experience of project management within the sector.

The Role: Oversee and manage operational delivery across the business Support and manage internal teams (designers, project managers, project coordinators, O&M) Monitor and develop KPIs to measure and improve operational performance Develop O&M function Ensure ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards and commitments are met Flexible working (min. 3 days in the office) with occasional client visits nationwide GBP65'000 – GBP75'000 DOE + GBP5K Car Allowance + Flexible Working + Pension + Holidays

The Person: Strong experience in a project / operational management position ideally within the renewable / electrical engineering sector, or a similar discipline Electrically qualified or a high level of knowledge and experience of project management within the sector Knowledge and experience of delivering large commercial Solar PV projects is highly advantageous Excellent knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 Ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and stakeholders Full UK Driving License
