Project Manager / Contract

My client is looking for a Project Manager on a contract basis with experience in the energy industry.

This role is home based with excessive travel involved In and around the area. The successful candidate is required to be Health and Safety qualified and have experience within LED installations. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the mobilization and execution of Energy Reduction Projects in a variety of sectors.

Initially focused on LED Lighting installations, the PM will receive a detailed scope of works from the Technical Team, mobilise our install partners and deliver several high–quality installations.

The PM will report directly into the Head of Projects, and will support field–based activities as a major

part of the role across several projects. Daily duties will include:

• Lead site kick–off and Pre–start meetings
• Perform site Health and Safety / Quality inductions
• Perform installation quality audits
• Act as first contact for technical issues
• Perform Practical Completion assessments and work sign off
• Cost control and management

The position is home based, with extensive travel throughout the region on a regular basis.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Behaviours Needed:

Essential

• Project Management Experience
• Electrical Installation / Building Services Qualifications
• Knowledge of Lighting Products and Systems
• Driving License with own vehicle

Desirable

• Health and Safety Qualification (SMSTS / IOSH)
• Knowledge of Energy Metering
• CMVP Qualification

This role is offering a daily rate of GBP300 – GBP350.
