Development Project Manager

Development Project Manager – 6 Month contract – Hybrid role (1 day per week onsite) – Outside of IR35

A leading organisation is looking for a Development Project Manager to join them on a contract basis to deliver an eCommerce Platform Modernisation project.

The successful Development project manager will come from a software background and have Front End release experience and an understanding of Azure DevOps, React, C# and releases. This role demands strong leadership skills and technical ability aligned with excellent management and communication. You will lead and develop your team to deliver the highest standards required by the business.

The Development Project Manager will be delivery focussed with extensive experience Project Managing within an agile environment. Due to the complexities of the projects, you will come from a technical background to ensure you can challenge the technical leads ways of working to improve development processes.

Development Project Manager Key Skills:

• Proven track record in a Retail, E–Commerce environment.
• Extensive experience of managing complex development projects (.net or mobile app).
• Worked extensively delivering projects within an Agile (SCRUM) environment
• It is expected you will have the exceptional "Bread and Butter" skills of a Project Manager: such as Communication, Stakeholder management, Planning, RAID management, Project Governance and Financial management.
• Experience working on Azure DevOps, React, C#
• Technical experience operating as a software developer
• Very strong Senior Stakeholder / Business Management skills.
• Proven experience working and manging 3rd party suppliers.
• Strong leadership skills, with essential team management experience.
• The ability to plan and prioritise workload in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Agile (SCRUM) Certified / Prince2 / Prince II

The role is for an initial 6 months with the view of extension and requires the successful Development Project Manager to be on site at least 1 day per week.

Role Summary:

• Role: Development Project Manager
• 6 months initial with view of extension
• IR35: Outside IR35 pending individual assessment.
• Location: Leicester 1 day per week (typically a Tuesday or Thursday)
• GBP450 – GBP500 per day paid to your PSC or Umbrella Company
