GBR Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Data Solutions business, recruiting for an experienced Salesforce Specialist Business Analyst (BA) to work on one of their key Food customer sites in Cambridgeshire 3 days a week & from home / London HQ 2 days a week (approx, flexibility required as some weeks more site or more remote based)

As a time served experienced BA, you will play a key part in delivering Salesforce CRM Supply Chain, WMS and Logistics Requirements / Implementations, using your substantial expertise in supply chain / Food / FMCG operations.

You will be a Business Analyst that's effectively implemented and also have used Salesforce (hands on user of it) for Supply Chain, WMS & Logistics control purposes (not sales).

Your niche sectors exposure will be across Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Food or FMCG, to transition seamlessly into this major clients operation.

To be a success in this role, you will have experience of in sourcing products and managing contractors through the Salesforce CRM software / system.

BA Responsibilities:

As the clients dedicated Salesforce Software Business Analyst (BA) you will be responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs of this key food / FMCG / Logistics client, for a specific bespoke project and change management roll out initiative. You will then work with the wider Project team, ensuring all deliverables are completed in line with the agreed client time–scales and specifications (OTIF).

Salesforce Specialist Business Analyst Duties:

  • Responsible for documenting and mapping out 'AsIs' and 'ToBe' operational processes, including interviewing SMEs, conducting workshops and gaining process approvals.
  • Responsible for ensuring that business requirements / needs are fully developed and documented e.g. functional, non–functional and analysis reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that all Business Requirements are analysed fully, with appropriate engagement from the business teams, including the review of current processes and data sources.
  • As the Salesforce CRM Guru, you will Implementing Salesforce cloud–based software specifically for set tasks within the logistics and supply chain area of the clients major business.
  • Implementing Salesforce cloud software supply chain processes, using your experience of in–sourcing products and managing contractors through the salesforce cloud software.
  • Act as the central control point for business analysis, activities including working with client and 3rd–party supplier business analysts, data analysts and the wider technical teams, as appropriately needed.
  • Provide assistance, guidance and support for the definition of the operational processes and procedures.
  • Assist the business to produce effective workarounds, where requirements cannot be met fully.

  • Influence the business to demonstrate how the proposed business process solutions will deliver real tangible benefits and solve the problem/s identified during the analysis process.
  • Play a key role in Project roll outs, acting as the Project Manager where needed using your previous Project support experience within FMCG / Food operations, delivering real change for the client.

BA Attributes:

  • Highly experienced in Salesforce software as well as possessing strong Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst or Project Management skills, from within Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Food or FMCG.
  • Highly experienced in using and implementing Salesforce CRM cloud software predominantly for Supply Chain, WMS and Logistics Activity / Requirements / Implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks, business processes and business requirements methodologies.
  • Possess Project support, Project coordinating and Project Management skills or you will have been a key player in working in the PM team.
  • Strong IT software and systems skills are required.
