Keele University is seeking to make the appointment to the post of Deputy Director of Estate Services.

Reporting to the Director of Estate and Campus Services, the Deputy Director of Estate Services role will lead planned and responsive maintenance across the University's built and natural environment. They will also lead the Energy Management, Campus Safety (Security) and Post Room functions.
The postholder will lead diverse internal team of estates and FM professionals as well as specialist external contractors ensuring the customer–focused deliver of estates services across an incredibly diverse estate portfolio. Keele has a blend of blend of historic and state of the art facilities across its 600–acre estate portfolio, with buildings and spaces that support teaching, research, enterprise and innovation, recreational, events, sports and residential activities.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience of leading estate operations (planned and reactive maintenance, infrastructure management, compliance, energy/utilities management) across a large–scale estate portfolio. You will have a track record of working with complex organisations that have multi–building, high–footfall and technically complex estate portfolios.
It is essential that the successful candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to successfully build relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
